Life Reflections “ I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” II Timothy 4:7-8 Mr. Derrick Jaamal Wallace, Sr. was born December 03, 1973, in Arcadia, Florida, to Mitchell Summers, Jr. and the late Cassandra Wallace. He departed this earthly life June 4, 2019 at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, Florence, South Carolina. Derrick was educated in the public schools of Florida and South Carolina, graduating from Desoto High School in Arcadia, Florida. He loved some of the things that life had to offer and lived it to the fullest. Derrick is survived by his loving family: his children; Deniqua Wallace, Tyrika Wallace and Derrick J. Wallace Jr.; father Mitchell Summers, Sr. of Arcadia, Fl., his loving grandmother; Wyona MClendon of Kingstree, SC; his siblings, Mitchell Summers, Jr., Carol Shine and Shelly Summers all of Arcadia, Florida. A granddaughter Autumn Wallace; Aunts and uncles; Debra (William) Kilpatrick of Arcadia, FL., Jessie (Bertha) Wallace of Tampa, FL., and Calvin Wallace of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., along with a host of nieces, nephews, grand aunts and uncles, and a host of friends.
