Sharnice Marie McCrea was born June 12, 1970 in Vidalia, Georgia. She was a daughter of the late Harold Pickney, Jr. and Mary Carolyn McCrea-Clements. She departed this life on Sunday, February 19, 2017 in Lumber City, Georgia after an illness.


She attended the public system  in the following states, Missouri, Georgia and South Carolina.


She was employed as a child care provider, and she also worked in the fast food industry.


While residing in South Carolina  she affiliated herself with the following churches, Praise Tabernacle and Trinity Believers Holiness Church both of Kingstree, SC.  Sharnice was a fun loving person, she never met a stranger.


A daughter preceded her in death.


Those left to cherish her memory forever are: her siblings, Tarsha McCrea, Danine McCrea-Richardson (Walter) both of Kingstree, SC, Crystal Clements of Greeleyville, SC, Jackie Gillis (Shawn) and Desiree Payne (Johnny) both of Georgia; Jermel G. McCrea and Faron Clements both of Kingstree, SC; Clayton Jones and Clinton Jones both of Georgia; her0 grandmother Deloris McCrea of Missouri; aunts, Marie Cunningham, Sarah Outing (William), Doris Barr, Mary McFarlin, and Alberta McCrea all of Kingstree, Cynthia McCrea of St. Louis, Missouri, Lucille Brown of Vidalia, Georgia and Betty Kennedy of Colorado; one uncle Thomas McCrea, Jr. of California; a special nephew she cared for as her own Jaiden; five nieces, four nephews, one grand- niece and a host of other family members  and friend. Two additional aunts   , Barbara McCrea of Columbia and Mary Lee McCrea of Kingstree, SC;  and one additional uncle Emerson McCrea Of Kingstree, SC.

From Carolyn Outing-Richards and family to my cousin the late Ms. Sharnice McCrea. We send our humblest condolences to the sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends at this most difficult time in your life. May the God on high strengthen you, give you peace, comfort and healing as you lay Sharnice to rest. Sorry we couldn't be there but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers
