Ann LaFae' Alston 76, transitioned from mortal to immortality on May 16, 2022 after a brief illness.
God saw his child getting tired and dispatched his Angels to get his Soldier. She was born in South Carolina on March 17, 1946 to the late Margaret Alston and John McClary. Her mother preceded her death as an infant, she was then raised by her grandmother Viola S. Alston. She was a member of The Church of Christ in Kingstree, South Carolina. She received her formal education from Tomlinson High School. She attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina where she obtained an Associate's Degree in Speech Pathology.
Ann LaFae' Alston worked as a secretary at Triple A Auto Sales Enterprise alongside her brother for over 25 years. She was employed at Williamsburg Residential Care as a caregiver for 8 years. Ann enjoyed walking and spending time with her great grandson Kaydenn.
She was preceded in death by her brother of whom she loved dearly Laurie W. Alston; Two aunts Virginia Brickous and Lila Mae Alston; two uncles Lamar Alston and
Jasper Alston.
Loved ones left to cherish her memories forever are her daughter Tawan B. Alston of the home, two grandsons Rodney DeWayne Stacy Jr. and Roderick Dwayne Stacy both of the home; one great grandson Kaydenn DeWayne Stacy of Kingstree, South Carolina. A dear cousin of which was like a sister; Binnetta Alston Shaw; Three nephews Roderick Murray of Atlanta, Georgia, Laurie R. Alston of Kingstree, South Carolina, William T. (Kia) Alston of Houston, Texas and one niece Lorie W. Boards Alston of Atlanta, Georgia one great niece Latorie Alston. Two special cousins Clarence Washington (Rose Washinton deceased), Bruce (Darlene) Dansby of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. A special friend Kathy Schwartz a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
