Anthony Lee McClary, the son of the late Reverend Joseph and Johnnie McClary, was born June 22, 1974, in Kingstree, South Carolina. He was a member of Apostolic Faith Holiness Church his entire life. He was educated in Williamsburg County Schools and later completed an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering at Williamsburg Technical College. He was employed a number of years in South Carolina at Tupperware of Hemingway, Talon, Inc. of Lake City, and Toys R Us of Charleston. Anthony was always outspoken and embraced the hobbies of playing video games and watching sports. He had a special relationship with his nieces and nephews. On December 18, Anthony left his old earthly dwelling after an extended illness for which he fought a good fight. Loved ones who will cherish his memory are his mother, Johnnie Bell McClary of Kingstree, SC; two brothers, Joseph McClary Jr. of Kingstree, SC and Tony McClary of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Ruth Staggers-Wilson and Dr.Janice Brown (Murray) both of Kingstree, SC; one special uncle, Reverend William McClary of Kingstree, SC; five aunts; Ruby Gilchrist and Rosa Gilchrist both of Augusta, Ga, Lirlease Gamble, Christine McClary, and Isabelle Wilson all of Kingstree, SC; five nieces, two nephews, one grand-nephew; and a host of other relatives and friends.
