Mrs. Barbara Wilson - Rackley was born May 4, 1966 in Sarasota, Florida to Sarah Wilson and the late G. L. Robinson. She was educated in the Sarasota County School System. Barbara further her education at Newberry College in South Carolina. She received a B. A. Degree in Math and a childcare certification from SCTI in Sarasota.

Barbara was employed by Wachovia Bank for 17 years. She later gained employment at Gocio Elementary School and with Kingdom Academy until her health declined.

Barbara was a member at Bethlehem Baptist Church where she served faithfully in many ministries, always with a pleasing and great spirt. On February 13, 1993, she married the love of her life, Mr. Sherman Rackley.

She leaves to cherish her memoires; her loving and devoted husband, Sherman Rackely; 3 sons Urian Baker, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Michael Cook-Rackely and Michael Wilson; Mother: Sarah Wilson; 2 sisters: Anna (Levy) Beacon and Easter Curry all of Sarasota, FL; 1 granddaughter: Bella Baker, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Mother in-law: Mercy Dee Rackley, Homestead, FL: Father in-law: Sherman (Betty Sue) Rackley, Sr., McDonough, GA: 5 Neices; devoted friends: Wanda Ellis, Monica Donley; Letha Dennis, Rose Solomon. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, classmates and co-workers.
