Cynthia Evon Tisdale McClary was the daughter of Joe and Pansy Tisdale. She was born August 7, 1955 in to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence, SC.

She was educated in the public schools of Williamsburg County. In 1973, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Columbia College in Columbia, SC.

Cynthia accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. As a dedicated member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, she served as an usher and a member of the Gospel Choir. Cynthia's true calling was helping the less fortunate. She passionately served as the Food Bank for numerous years.

Her employment began at Williamsburg Regional Hospital, where she diligently worked for fifteen years. She was also employed by Baxter Laboratories and Phoenix Industries. Until her illness, she served as a manager at Tanner's Money Saver.

In 1982, she joined into holy matrimony to the love of her life, Sam McClary. This union was blessed with four children.

Love ones who remain to cherish her memories are: Her loving husband , Sam McClary of the home, four children: Ayesha Tisdale, Glenda D. Tisdale, and Samantha McClary all of Kingstree, South Carolina and Courtney (Tonya) McClary of Columbia, South Carolina; her parents Joe and Pansy Tisdale of Kingstree, South Carolina; three brothers: Wayne (Yoshimi) Tisdale of Guam, Kirk (Vavian) Tisdale of Columbia, South Carolina, and Joey Tisdale of Orlando, Florida, two sisters: Clara Faye Dozier and Deloris (Vernon) Fowler both of Kingstree, South Carolina; four uncles: Luther (Evelyn) Alston, Jr., Samuel (Mae) Tisdale, Solomen (Alice) Tisdale, and Louis Tisdale; six aunts: Rachel (Arthur) Tisdale, Margaret Shaw, Annie Lee Dixon, Johnnie Mae Harris, Florine Barnes and Connie Woods; one granduncle Alex (Ruth) Alston; one grandaunt Odessa Chandler; ten grandchildren: Shaniquw, Darius, Donovan, Kateria, Nikolas, Kourtney, Jordan, Kitlyn, Caleb, and Hayden; brother and sisters in-law; Elder Leroy (Hester) McClary, Richard (Alberta) McClary, Raymond (Barbara) McClary, Margurite McCrea, Rebecca (Cicero) McCrea and Martha Lee (Edward) Graham; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
