Life Reflections

Denette Johnson peacefully transitioned on September 08, 2026. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut, to the late Golden Martin and Bernice Martin. She was known for her loving and quiet spirit and was a caring person who treasured her family deeply. Denette especially cared for her two sons, Rokeem Johnson and Eric Johnson, who preceded her in death.

Denette later relocated to Kingstree, South Carolina, where she was welcomed with love, kindness, and compassion by her relatives. She continued to be a cherished part of her family and will be remembered for her gentle nature, quiet strength, and the love she showed to those around her.

Denette leaves to cherish her memory three special cousins: Samuel Mouzon, Louerelza Monroe, and Juliet Green. A very special friend Josie Gagum, and a host of other relatives and loved ones who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared with her family and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
