Donald Ray Hall, Sr., known as "Cat Daddy". The son of the late Lelia Poole and Knob McCray, was born February 23, 1953 in Alabama. Our wise Heavenly Father summoned his servant, Donald Ray Hall, Sr. to eternal rest Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Lake City Community Hospital Lake City, South Carolina.

Donald was educated in the public school system of Georgia and Alabama. He was a devoted father, and a hard worker. He was employed at Wellman Industries for 31 years.

Donald was joined in holy matrimony to the former Irene McCrea.

In addition to his parents. Donald was preceded in death by his son Donald Ray Hall, Jr., Also Several siblings preceded him namely; Bobbie Jean Blackman, Sam Hall, Theordore Hinton, Sr, James Hall, Leon Hall, Melvin Hall, and Betty Lewis.

Loved ones left to cherish memories forever are: his wife Irene McCrea Hall; three daughters, Thretha (Michael) Boyd of Salters, SC, Donna Hall and Claudette Hall both of Kingstree, South Carolina, one grandson whom they raised as their own Samary Donald Seabrooks of Kingstree, SC a twin brother Ronald Hall of Alabama, a sister Barbara Henderson of Tampa, Fla., four sisters-in-law Christene Roan, Viola Cooper, Laura Mae Wilson all of Florida, and Mary Bonner of North Carolina, brothers-in-law Morgan McCrea of Kingstree, SC, and Willie Ervin of Tampa, Fla. eight grandchildren; Michael, Tiffany, Thretha, Kortney, Tionna, Terrill, Shamary and Brandon all of Kingstree, SC, three great-grandchildren; Aydenn, Aiyanna, Shamary, Jr. all Kingstree, SC. Someone close to his heart Jessie "Jazzy" Durden. Along with a very close friend Glenn Brown. A host of nieces,nephews other relatives and friends.
