With profound sorrow we announce the passing of the late Elder Samuel Davis Chandler, Sr. Who passed on Saturday Morning at his residence after an illness. He was born April 24, 1933 in Williamsburg County to the late Rev. Orie Chandler and Mrs. Elizabeth McKnight Chandler. Funeral plans are incomplete at this time, but will be announce later by the family. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Minister Annie Mae Chandler of the home; his children three sons and four daughters, Min. Samuel J. Chandler and wife (Min. Rutheen), of Kingstree, SC, Min. Billy Chandler and wife (Gloria) of Russelville, SC, Min. Harold Chandler and wife (Felecia) of Goosecreek, SC, Gloria Chandler of Florence, SC, Glyndell Chandler of Andrews, SC, Carolyn Chandler of Holywood, Fl. And Latitia Harvin and husband (Theodore) of Lane, South Carolina. Along with 31 grandchildren,a number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. His siblings; Louise Fleming of Tennessee, Margie Chandler of Safety Harbor, Florida, Elizabeth Moore of Salters, SC, Corethia Hailey of Kingstree, South Carolina and Franklin R. Chandler and wife Peggy of Brooklyn, NY.The family is receiving friends at the residence 601 Trio Rd. Andrews, SC.
