Mrs. Elizabeth Stewart Green, affectionately called "Nan" was born July 29, 1934 in Greenwood, South Carolina to the late Harlee and Margrece Stewart. On Monday, December 14, 2015, she peacefully entered into eternal rest at Prince George Hospital Cheverly, Maryland after an illness. She was joined in holy wedlock to Mr. Willie Louis Green, who preceded her in death. Elizabeth attended the public school system of Philadelphia, PA. where she obtained her high school diploma. While living in Philadelphia she was a member of Enon Baptist Church of Philadelphia. She was a member of the following organizations the Usher Board, Choir, Flower club, and the Pastors Aide Club. She worked in the following capacities; nurse assistant at Byberry Psychatricts Hospital. After returning back to South Carolina she became a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Later she joined Greater Black River Missionary Baptist Church of Kingstree. She leaves to cherish her memories; one sister Susie Evans of Phila., PA.; one granddaughter she raised as her own Adelaide (Antony) Blake of Capital Heights, MD. ;two grandsons Kenneth (Donna) Samuel of Richmond VA. and Larry Graham Jr. (Whom she raised as her own) of Kingstree, SC.; four great-grandchildren: Keyana Morris, Kenneth Samuel, Jr., Sharaud Blake, and Amonti (number one) Blake; two step-sons: Victor (Dee) Hugee of Hopkins, SC and Larry J. (Patricia) Graham of Kingstree, SC.; two nieces Jeanette Corbin and Suzette (Eric) Walker; four sisters in-law: Zora L (Harold) Shaw, Julia B. Murphy both of Rochester NY, Mary F. (Jonathan) White of Kingstree, SC, and Cherrie Scott of Augusta, GA; one brother in-law Claude Wendell Flagler of San Jose, CA.; a God-daughter Harriet Richardson; a special cousin Dorothy Benjamin; Lola June (traveling partner and good friend), and a host of other relative and friends.
