It is With deepest sorrow, the staff and management of Pressley Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Mr. Eric Johnson. During this time of great loss, we extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Eric was born in Farmington, Connecticut. When he was a toddler, his family moved to Simsbury, Connecticut. Eric attended the Grace Webb School in Hartford, Connecticut, and graduated in 2006. Following graduation, Eric held several retail jobs in Hartford and Windsor, Connecticut. Eric and his mother, Denette Johnson, moved to Kingstree, South Carolina  in 2024, from Windsor, Connecticut. Eric was a lifelong member of the Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church in Hartford, Connecticut.

Eric was very proficient in computer technology. His family and friends often asked him for assistance, and considered him "Mr. IT". He was an expert gamer and won several Gaming Tournaments. Eric was also very interested in fishing, politics, astronomy, art, and music. Eric is survived by his mother, Denette (Martin) Johnson, and a host of cousins from Connecticut, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio, and other areas of the country.

Eric was predeceased by his father, Eric A. Johnson, his younger brother, Rakkim Johnson, his Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. Eric had many family and friends and he will be missed by all.
