It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Mr. George Cunningham. He was the son of the late Clarence and Shirley Cunningham. Loved ones left to cherish his memories are a special cousin Pastor Joseph Woods and a host of family and friends. Services will be held on Wednesday October 4, 2023 at 11 AM in Sharon Sherall Pressley Memorial Chapel. We solicit your prayers for his family at this time.

Mr. George Cunningham was born June 28, 1964 in Kingstree, South Carolina to the late Clarence Boyd Cunningham and Shirley Jackson Cunningham. He departed his earthly home on September 27, 2023.
Mr. George Cunningham attended the Williamsburg County School System. He then enlisted into the United States Army. Where he received various decorations, medals, and badges. He received the Army Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Marksman Badge M16 Rifle, Capers Badge Hand Grenade, and many more. He was also employed as a carpenter. George had many friends, and enjoyed having fun, and laughter with family and friends. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Holiness Church under the leadership of Bishop Joseph A. Woods.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Shirley Cunningham; Three brothers Daryl Lee, Keith Lee, and Mitchell Lee. Loved ones he leaves to Cherish his memories are a special Cousin Bishop Joseph A. Woods; 5 Aunts; Patricia Woods of Kingstree, SC, Ozzie Gene Scott of Baltimore, MD, Judy Jones of Florence, SC, Elizabeth Taylor of Riverhead, New York; and Jeanette Compton of Lancaster, PA; two Uncles Raymond Jackson and Cornelius Jackson both of Riverhead, NY. And host of other family members and friends.
