Life Reflections

George A. Eunice was born in Waynesboro, GA on June 12, 1924 and departed this life on October 29, 2021. He was born to the late Effie May and Judson Eunice.

George moved to Newark, NJ, where he met his future wife Estelle Scott. To this union, seven children were born.

The family settled in Syracuse, NY. Hopps Memorial C.M.E. Church became the family's home church.  In Syracuse, George worked at Crucible Steel, from which he retired after thirty years of service.

After retiring, George and Estelle relocated to  Andrews, SC. There they became members of Mt. Lebanon A.M.E. Church where George was on the Trustee Board and also the Oldest Father in the Church. George came out of   retirement to work nine more years as a driver for the Georgetown County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs.

George was preceded in death by: his parents, Effie May and Judson Eunice; brothers, Jetson, Berry and Willie Eunice;        sisters, Nina Edwards, Zelle Simmons, Mamie Patterson, Katie Jackson and Annie May Taylor .

George leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Estelle of the home; three sons, Alvin Eunice of Winston-Salem, NC,  Michael (Belinda) Eunice of Syracuse, NY and Anthony (Sherille) Eunice of Covington, GA; five daughters,  Deboraha A. Bell of Lake Budd, NJ,  Beverly Eunice of  Richmond, VA,   Angela Eunice of Kingstree, SC, Pamela Samuels of Jacksonville, FL and Effie May Lewis of Goose Creek, SC; one sister, Laura Scott of Newark, NJ; along with thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and    family, who  also Loved Mr. George.
