Life Reflections I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith. God grant us the serenity to accept the things we can change; the courage to change the things we can; and the wisdom to know the difference. On Friday, August 9th 2019 at 10:57 pm, in His infinite wisdom God saw fit and told His child, "Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant". Mr. Henry McClorin also known as "Hank" was born April 11 1952 in Salters, SC to Mrs. Fannie Davis McClorin and the late Mr. William McClorin. At an early age, he joined Bethel AME Church. After moving to Jersey City, NJ he attended several churches. Henry graduated from Williamsburg County Training School in 1970. He also attended Dillard University in Louisiana. His last employment was as a supervisor at Marcal as a machinist mechanic prior to becoming disable. His favorite pastime was celebrating family, hanging with the boys, spending time with the grandchildren and watching the NY Giants. He touched the lives of many and he loved little kids. Henry was proceeded in death by two brothers, Dr. Solomon Franklin Davis and Willie Lee McClorin. Loved ones who will forever cherish his loving memories are three sons; Damon Miller of Orangeburg, SC, Courtney McClorin (Yoursheka)of Bowman,SC, Henry McClorin Jr. (Asiya) of Atlanta, GA; and daughter: Melba Mitchell-Mosby of Fayetteville, NC and his mother, Fannie Davis McClorin of Lane, SC; one brother: Kenneth McClorin of Charlotte, NC; six sisters: Christine Noland (Eugene), Jannie Dukes, Dr. Cynthia McClorin of Lane,SC, Carolyn McClorin and Dr. Lottie (Bobby) McClorin of Columbia, SC, and Lavetta McClorin of Clayton, NC: a sister-in-law, Burnestine McClorin of Lane, SC; an uncle, Jessie Dingle (Lorraine) of St. Stephen, SC, six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and special friends. God saw you was getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "Come to me". With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you passed away. Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Love your Children and Grandchildren
