Mr. Hilton Tisdale was born, July 14,1956, to the late Mr. James Tisdale and Mrs. Lorine Strong Tisdale in the Millwood Community of Kingstree, S.C. He attended St. Mark Elementary and High School. He joined St. Paul United Methodist Church at an early age. He worked in several different capacities while living in Kingstree, S.C.; Orangeburg, S.C.; Raleigh, N.C.; as well as Rochester, N.Y. An avid hunter, Hillbilly truly earned his nickname. He was always willing to help anyone in need and was known for his kind acts throughout the community. His generosity did not cease with people, as he would often take care of animals in need. He was often quoted for saying, "If you scared, say you scared." Preceding him in death is one death is one brother, Robert "Sherman" Tisdale, and one sister, Alberta Gibson. Loving memories of him will remain with his beloved daughter, Tameka Green, and grandson, O'marion, of the home; his five brothers: James(Barbara)Tisdale of Rochester, N.Y.; AlDavis Tisdale of Rochester, N.Y.; Hayward(Lillie)Tisdale of Marietta G.A.; Otis Tisdale of Rochester, N.Y.; and Marvin(Celia)Tisdale of Kingstree, S.C.; his three sisters: Alethia Pressley of Hemingway, S.C.; Elizabeth (Robert)Brooks of Brunson, S.C.; and a twin sister Margaret Fitts of Atlanta, G.A. a sister-in-law, Ella Tisdale of Gary, I.N.; an aunt, Bertha Tisdale of Sumter, S.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, family, and a dear friend, Lucille Whitfield, will continue to cherish his memories.
