Obituary

Reverend Mother Inez T. Fulton, was born February 01, 1918 in Williamsburg County, Kingstree, South Carolina. To her beloved father the late Sam Tisdale and Melvina Shaw Tisdale. She departed this life December 10, 2013 at the Williamsburg Regional Hospital Kingstree, SC. During her early years she attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She was educated in the public schools of Williamsburg County. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Robert Fulton, Sr. This union was blessed with two sons. Both preceded her in death namely Robert, Jr. and Willie Lee. She was also preceded in death by an adopted daughter Earline Perkins. She worked and retired from Rosco Dry Cleaners after over forty years of service. Mother Inez was a member of the Apostolic Faith Holiness Church, where she served faithfully until her health declined. She confessed Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, she was sanctified and filled with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. She was a woman of faith. She served the church in the following capacities; teacher and preacher of the gospel, Mother of the church, member of the Senior Choir, Member of the Gospel Harmonettes, Kitchen Committee, she also served as acting assistant pastor from 1989-1992 for the Apostolic Faith Church in Florence, SC. She was a prayer warrior and a faithful soldier to the end. . Mother Inez had a philosophy that life is on the other side of Jordan. On December 10, 2013 she crossed over Jordan and transition to her eternal resting place which is Heaven. Loved ones who will cherish her memory; one granddaughter Wanda Renee Elliott one great-granddaughter Nikki Elliott both of Durham, NC, a faithful and devoted niece Alice Johnson of Kingstree, SC; one daughter-in-law Louise M. Fulton of Kingstree, SC; one adopted grandson Donald W. Davis of Kingstree, SC; a special great-grandnephew Marvin (Yolonda) Johnson along with Kristana and Malek all of Kingstree, SC; a host of other nieces and nephews; Margaret Washington, Francis Johnson, Naomi Moultrie and Willie A. (Wallace) Bartell all of Kingstree, SC, Cynthia Shaw, Mae Bell Shaw, Elizabeth (Richard) Wilson, Henry (Anna Bell) Scott all of Durham, NC William Johnson of Brooklyn, NY and Robert (Myrtle) Tisdale of Charleston, SC and a host of other nieces, nephews, and other family members.
