Life Reflections

On Saturday, March 14, 2020 Jacqueline Charmine McKnight Darby, passed away at Tidelands Georgetown Hospital after an extended illness. Jacqueline was born July 1, 1978 in Williamsburg County to the late George McKnight, Sr. and Rose Lee McCullough Mcknight.

Jackie as she was affectionately called attended Williamsburg County School System and was a graduate of CE Murray High School. She also received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Morris College Sumter, SC.

At an early age she joined St. James Holiness Church in the Trio Community.

Jackie possessed a benevolent spirit. She enjoyed socializing with her family and friends. She loved her children dearly.

Jackie was joined in holy wedlock to Mr. Bryan Lamont Darby. This Union was blessed with three beautiful children.

Jackie's Career history included employment as a substitute teacher in the Williamsburg County School System, Fast Point and Wal-Mart.

Jackie leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband Bryan Lamont Darby of Andrews, SC; her children, Adja Faye Darby , Cornelius Lamont Darby and Octavia Nicole Darby all of the home, her siblings; Orie Jean McKnight, Lerlean Kinlaw and Quinton (Dana) McKnight all of Andrews, SC; her aunts and uncles Elijah (Lizzie) McCullough, Elnora (Isaac) Pressley, Doretha (Linwood) Cooper,Lucius McKnight all of Kingstree, SC and Jimmie McKnight of Florence, SC; additional aunts: Mary Sanders of Rochester, NY and Ethel ( Charles)Barr of Columbia, one niece Miracle Kinlaw of Greenville, SC one nephew Charles Kinlaw Of Columbia, SC,one great Nephew, four great uncles, two great aunts, father-in-law- Samuel Wilson of Georgetown, SC   and a host of other in-laws, family members and friends.
