On behalf of the family and entire staff of Pressley's Funeral Home, we regretfully announce the passing of our beloved, Mr. James Bradley who transitioned from this earthly home on Sunday December 06, 2020. We solicit prayers and offer heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
Final rites have been entrusted to the care of Pressley's Funeral Home.
Life Reflections
J ames "Daddy Brad" Bradley Jr., of Williamsburg County, passed away on December 6, 2020 at the age of 69. He was born on September 2, 1951 to the late James and Elizabeth Strong Bradley. James was educated in the public schools of Williamsburg County. At an early age, James joined North Kingstree Baptist Church where he was baptized. He was a faithful, dedicated lifelong member where he assisted the church with many activities. James was a very hard worker. He was very skillful with his hands. After high school, he moved to New York to pursue his passion in the brick mason profession. He worked with Dupree Mason for over 20 years. When he moved back to South Carolina, he continued his work in brick masonry.
James was very devoted to his family. He was a gentle, kind, quiet, and caring person. Even though he was quiet, he also loved to crack jokes. His one and only son, James Bernard, preceded him in death, as well as three siblings, Myrtle, Johnnie Mae, and Willie James.
James leaves behind to cherish his memories: his sisters , Rosa Lee Durant of Kingstree, SC, Leola Pendergrass of Memphis, TN, Mary (William) Sanders of Opa Locka, FL and Barbara (Daniel) Austin of Baltimore, MD; a brother, Charles Bradley of Miami, FL; one aunt, Emma Strong of Kingstree, SC ; one uncle, Dallas (Julia) Strong of Kingstree, SC; a devoted niece and nephew, Mary (Harry) Dukes and Tony Durant both of Kingstree, SC; special friends, Ricky Scott, Clarence Dupree, and Verdell "Coot" Singletary , along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
