"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."  II Timothy 4:6-7

Mr. Jimmie Boyd was the son of the late Elijah Boyd, Sr. and Illa Mae Boyd. He was born April 5, 1950 in Williamsburg County, South Carolina and departed this life February 28, 2023.

Jimmie Boyd attended St. Mark High School.  He worked at an early age on the family farm.  His love of life included watching tv and his favorite beverage, Pepsi.

In addition to his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by one sibling Rumble Lee Boyd. Jimmie Boyd leaves to cherish his precious memories his sister of the home Virginia Darby (Solomon) of Andrews, SC; and Elizabeth Harkless, and brothers Elijah Boyd, Jr; Nathaniel Boyd (Lynn) all of Florence, SC; Jackie Boyd Sr. and Eugene Boyd of Andrews, SC; one aunt Genieva Boyd, and a special aunt Vernie Mae Boyd, a special niece Laura Chandler, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members.
