For we know that if our earthly house, this tabernacle, were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."

On behalf of the family and entire staff of Pressley's Funeral Home, we regretfully announce the passing of our beloved, Mr. Jimmy Gamble. Jimmy Gamble is at peace with God now, rejoicing in his happy, heavenly home. On Thursday, May 19, 2022 at his residence in Washington, DC, Jimmy slipped away with one of God's Angels.
Mr. Gamble, son of Lucille R. Gamble and the late Hayes R. Gamble,Sr. was born on April 27, 1955 in Kingstree, SC. and relocated to the Metropolitan Washington, DC area in 1977.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories are daughters Yolanda and Connie Gamble of Maryland; one granddaughter Cierra Gamble of Maryland; two grandcats Tommie and Tootie of Maryland; loving mother Lucille R. Gamble of Kingstree, SC ; devoted brothers: Hayes R. Gamble of Largo, MD, Joseph (Carrie) Gamble of Sumter, SC and Perry Gamble of Ft. Washington, MD and one sister Helen Rivers of Monks Corners, SC. We extend condolences and offer prayers to his entire family and many friends. Services are currently incomplete and will be announced at a later date.
