Mr. Boykin passed on Friday Morning, June 7, 2013 at the McLeod Regional Medical Center. He was born January 21, 1943 to the late James Boykin and Nancy Nelson Boykin. Mr. Boykin was a life long citizen of Williamsburg. He attended the public school system in Williamsburg County and was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of the home; Mae Belle Boykin; his children, Tonda (Joseph) Williams of Kennersville, NC and Pansy McKnight of Charleston, SC ; three granddaughters Erika Austin, Branna Williams and JaLisa Williams; his siblings Madgedlena McClam of Salters, SC, Jannie Venable of Boston, Mass., Wilhelmina B. Whitfield of Greeleyville, SC, Bennie (Normandine) Boykin of Greeleyville, SC and Bobby (Ruth) Boykin of Salters, SC. and a host of other family members and friends.
