Mrs. Juanita Milligan White affectionately called "Goldie" was funeralized on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from Calvary Reformed Episcopal Church, St. Stephen, South Carolina. Reverend Eugene Sims, pastor officiated. Interment followed in the White Cemetery. Pineville, SC. Juanita Milligan White was born March 21, 1926 to the late Relius and Carrie Waring Milligan. She slipped into eternal peace and rest on the morning of October 25, 2014. She was educated in and graduated from the Berkeley County Public School System. She was owner and manager of White's Grocery in Pineville, SC until her retirement. T an early age she joined Day Dawn Baptist Church, and later joined Calvary Reformed Episcopal Church. There, she served faithfully in the Senior Choir, the Sunday School Department, and the Women of the Church. She was married to the late Leroy White on March 26, 1944. This union was blessed with six children, one of whom, Nehemiah, preceded her in death. Her memory will forever love in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great- great- grandchildren, sisters, her brother and other family members; Shirley Ann (Heyward) Manigault of New York; Bishop William Joseph (Vivian) White; Annie Belle (James) Gaillard; John Arthur (Billie Jean) White; Vernon Lee (Roberta) White all of St. Stephen, SC; one grandson Reginald White of New York who was reared in the home; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters Emmaline (Paul) White, Elizabeth (James) Jenkins, one brother Andrew Joshua(Queen) Milligan all of Pineville, SC; three sisters-in-law Emma Jean Milligan, Elizabeth Milligan and Pearline White; one brother-in-law Soloman Montgomery and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
