Julia Pressley, age 77, passed from mortal to immortality on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, after a brief illness God saw fit and told his child; 'Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant'. She was born March 12, 1947, to the late Aaron Parson and Mrs. Sarah Parson. She was loved and known by family and friends as: 'Shortie'. She was educated in the Williamsburg County School System. She entered into Holy Matrimony to the late Deacon Nathaniel Pressley. This union was blessed with three children. After receiving Christ in her life as her personal Savior. Julia Pressley became a dedicated servant for God. She was on numerous committees; Choir Member, Kitchen Staff, and also assisted with the Sunday School Department. For numerous years she dedicated her time working as an educator/child care provider.
Julia was preceded in death by her devoted husband, the late Deacon Nathaniel Pressley and her brother, the late Roosevelt Parson. Julia Pressley's devotion to her church and family will be missed but her memories will live on through her children; Mr. Nathaniel Pressley (Michelle) of Kingstree, SC, Mrs. Jacqueline Wilson (Thomas) of McDonough, GA, Mrs. LaCole Raysor (Michael) of Orangeburg, SC, Mr. Richard Battle (Judy) of Fuquay Varina, NC and Mrs. Angela Battle Brown (Michael) of Kingstree, SC and 13 grandchildren; Her loving brothers and sister: Mr. Prince Parson (Mary) of Goldsboro, NC, Mr. James Parson (Carrie) of Columbia, SC, Ms. Sophia Gamble of Lane, SC and Mr. Jonus Brunson of Lane, SC, Her loving in-laws: Mr. Isaac (Elnora) Pressley of Kingstree, Mr. Stephenson Pressley of Columbia, SC, Mr. Lynn Pressley, Kingstree, SC, Mr. Seth (Janie) Pressley, Lake City, SC, Mr. Stanley (Deliso) Pressley, Birmingham, AL and Mr. Keith Pressley, Kingstree, SC; Mrs. Lille Segres, Mrs. Hattie McKnight, Mrs. Maxine Bradley and Mrs. Cecelia (Leroy) Epps all of Kingstree, SC; Mrs. Virginia Pressley and Mrs. Gail Pressley Both of Columbia, SC, Mrs. Gena Pressley, Newark, Ohio. She will be adored for years by her aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
