Mr. Lawson George, 81, departed this earthly life peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026, while surrounded by his beloved family. He was born on February 19, 1944, in Walterboro, South Carolina to the late Holland Lawson George Sr. and the late Marie Razor George.

Church where he remained a dedicated and faithful member, who has served on the Trustee Board, Steward Board, Finance Committee, Usher Board, Male Choir and as president of the Men's Club.
