Melissa Charlene Pressley took her rest on November 05, 2022. She was born June 8, 1973 in Florence, South Carolina to Maxine Owens Bradley and the late Matthew Pressley.

Melissa was educated in the public schools of Williamsburg County and graduated in 1991 from Kingstree Senior High School.  Melissa furthered her education at Saint Augustine's University in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Melissa attended Florence Darlington Technical College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Development.

Melissa was an active member of St. Paul United Methodist Church as a youth. Melissa was a member of the youth choir.  While living in Florence, Melissa attended Family Worship Center. Melissa was known for her infectious smile and vibrant energy.

She was preceded in death by her father Matthew Pressley. Though the presence of Melissa Pressley is no more she leaves to cherish her loving memories forever: her two sons; Matthew K. Pressley and Micah Pressley both of Florence, South Carolina.  Her parents Maxine (Samuel) Bradley of Kingstree, South Carolina; her sisters Barbara Gunther of Florence, SC, Tawanda (Taury) Evans of Columbia, SC; and Tiffany (Ellis) Mcelveen of Fountain Inn, SC; a brother Kenyatta Raymond of Trio, SC; two special sisters Kizmet Timmons of Lake City, SC; and Vanessa Gibbs of Columbia, SC, and a special brother Samuel Cooper of Lake City, SC. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many dear friends.
