Minister Annie Mae Chandler, 86 transitioned from mortal to immortality on Monday, January 24, 2022 after a brief illness. God saw His child getting tired and dispatched His Angels to get his soldier.
She was born on March 24, 1935 in Salters, SC to the late William and Hannah Nesmith. In addition to her parents and husband, Elder Samuel Chandler, Sr. who preceeded her in death, also four brothers. Mr. Charlie Nesmith, Mr. James Nesmith, Mr. Samuel Nesmith, and Mr. Willie Nesmith, Jr.; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bell, Mrs. Katherine Whitmire, and Mrs. Susanna (Roxanne) Salters, also preceeded her in death.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She was called into the ministry and was a faithful and loyal servant to the end. She served along with her husband at New Hope Mission in the Millwood Community, where God showed Himself mighty in many ways. Afterwards, she joined Mount Zion Apostolic Faith Holiness Church located in the Holywoods Community of Kingstree, SC. She served faithfully in the Ministerial Department, where later she became the "Mother" of the Church until her death.
Minister Annie Mae Chandler attended Trio Elementary School. She was present in the communities in the surrounding areas of Williamsburg County. She was well-respected by others, and a Mother figure to many. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Elder Samuel Chandler, Sr. on January 17, 1953. To this union seven children were born. She remained married for 62 years until his death.

Chandler, Jr. (Minister Rutheen Chandler) of Kingstree, SC., Elder Billy Chandler (Gloria) of Russellville, SC., Elder Harold Chandler (Felecia) of Goose Creek, SC.; Four daughters; Gloria Chandler of Florence, SC, Glyndell Chandler of Florence, SC., Minister Carolyn Chandler of Hendersonville, NC., Latitia Harvin (Theodore III) of Lane, SC., Thirty-One grandchildren ; Two she reared in the home: Major Gustavus Chandler (Sharon) of North Charleston, SC., and Christopher Chandler of Lane, SC; Sixty-four great grandchildren, and twelve great great grandchildren; One brother-in-law, Reverend Franklin DR. Chandler (Peggy) of Salters, SC.; Four Sisters-in-law; Mazzie Fleming of Nashville, Tn, Margie Chandler of Safety Harbor, Fl, Evangelist Elizabeth Moore of Salters, SC and Minister Coreatha Hailey of Kingstree, SC, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. After living a full life, she was ready to depart. She left the way she lived imparting and interceding for her children, grandchildren, and others.
