Nettie Wall Fulton was born on March 18, 1926 in Kingstree, South Carolina to the late Rev. Hayward and Lillis Barr Wall.

God had the last word and called our dearly beloved Nettie to her eternal home on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

Nettie was united in marriage to Leroy Fulton and they both were faithful members of Siloam Baptist Church for many years and continued her faith journey until her health began to decline.

Nettie was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy; both her parents and two sons; Dennis and Johnny Ray.

Nettie attended the public schools of Williamsburg County and graduated from Tomlinson High School in Kingstree, South Carolina.

Nettie or "Mrs. Nettie" as she was affectionately called was an organic famer and was ahead of her time in doing so.  She raised chickens, grew various produce and always had the most beautiful flowers surrounding her home.

Nettie will be remembered for her incredible talent in sewing and quilting. She made many of her own clothes and is well known for her uniquely designed quilts.

Nettie was employed for several years as a machine operator at Oxford Industries and as a food service worker in the Williamsburg County School District.

Nettie leaves to cherish her precious memories, three devoted and caring sons – Edison (Angela), Preston (Georgette) and Steve; Coretta Thompson who she adopted as her daughter; three sisters-in-laws; Hattie Fulton, Glannie Nesmith and Hazel Fulton; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
