Roberta Margo Beaufort the daughter of the late Will and Illar Mae Barr Beaufort went home to be with Jesus on Monday June, 2014. Roberta was born July 8, 1946. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death, Fruman Beaufort, Wilbur Beaufort and Jannie Lee Wilson. Two beloved nephews Clifford Boyd and Will McKnight also preceded her in death. Roberta was educated in Kingstree, SC before moving to NJ as a teenager. On April 15, 1963 Roberta married Simmie Howard Davis they were married 40years before getting divorced in 2003. This union was blessed with one daughter. Roberta lived in NJ for over 40 years. While NJ she went to nursing school and school and worked as a nurse for over 30 years before moving back to South Carolina in 2002. In March of 2004 Roberta stared Beaufort Taxi Service and owned and operated the best taxi service in Williamsburg County for close to ten years. Roberta loved the Lord and expressed it in the way she lived and treated others. Robert attended Wilson Chapel First Missionary Baptist Church in Kingstree, SC. Love ones who will cherish her memory are one daughter Theresa M. Beaufort Davis of Kingstree, SC; three brothers, Samuel Beaufort of Miami, Florida, reggie E. Beaufort (Cherry) of Roselle, NJ, Terry M. Beaufort (Phyllis) of Kingstree, SC. One sister Mattie McKnight (John) of Sumter, SC; 5 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law, 15 nephews, 18 nieces, 10 special friends; one dog CC Beaufort, 2 cats lady Beaufort and Orie Beaufort, five kittens to be named later along with a host of other relatives and friends.
