Life Reflections

" For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Hence forth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day and not to me only, but unto all them  also that love his appearing."

II Timothy 4:6-8

R onald Wilson departed this earthly life and was taken into his heavenly home on Wednesday August 04, 2021. Ronald  was born May 11, 1955 to  the late Mr. Pickens Wilson Sr. and Mrs. Ruthamae Burrows Wilson in Kingstree, South Carlina. He was preceded in death by three siblings Herman Wilson, Zenobia Wilson Nesmith, and Charles Jackson Wilson.

R onald attended the public schools of Williamsburg County. After graduating from High School he joined the National Guard Army Reserved. After completing his service in the military Ronald became a very successful Independent Plumber.

R onald attended St. Michael United Methodist Church in the Cedar Swamp Community in Kingstree, SC. Where he was a faithful servant. He served on several boards of the church. He was a member of the United Methodist Usher Board as well as a member of the United Methodist Men.

R onald leaves to cherish his memories are his loving wife Evelyn Lee Wilson. Five children Ron (Dawn) Grayson of Allentown, Pa; Markaan (Monique) Smith of Atlanta, Ga;  Markiesa Smith, Ernest Smith, and Danielle Smith all of Kingstree, SC. One caring brother Pickens (Ruth Ann) Wilson Jr. of Kingstree, SC; three devoted sisters Geneva (Aaron) Wilson of Englewood, NJ; Deloris (Rev. Clyde Sr.) Henryhand and Katherine (Dexter) Sabb Graham both of Kingstree, SC.  Four sisters-in-law Marian Wilson, Mary Conyers, Sadie Mcfadden, all of Kingstree, SC; and Gloria (James) Cooper of Columbia, SC. And two aunts Roberta Kelly of Kingstree, SC; and Eliza Green of Hollywood, Fl. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
