Mrs. Sadie Mae Gaillard was born January 04, 1951 in Greeleyville, South Carolina to the late William F. Cooper and Ollie Mae Cokley Cooper. On Thursday morning, May 17, 2018, Sadie peacefully entered into eternal rest at McLeod Regional Medical Center Florence, SC after an illness.

She was joined in holy wedlock to the late Henry Gaillard, who preceded her in death.

Sadie attended the public school system of Williamsburg County. She was a member of Greater Black River Missionary Baptist Church of Kingstree, South Carolina. She was employed as a seamstress.

Five siblings preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory are her children; Stephanie Gaillard of Roanoke, VA., Devonte Gaillard of McCormick, SC, Jaunita Staggers ( Kevin) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Joseph Cunningham of (Evonne) of Kingstree, SC., two sisters; Marjorie Brown of Greeleyville, SC and Gwendolyn Robinson of Kingstree, SC; two brothers, Leon Cooper and Vernell Cooper both of Greeleyville, SC, three aunts; Lula M. McClary of Greeleyville, SC, Laura Cokley of Kingstree, SC and Nora Redden of Florence, SC, two uncles Ardell Cokley (Evonne) and Lee Ellis Cokley both of North Carolina, one brother in-law; Joe Gaillard (Barbara) of Pineville, SC, one sister in-law; Ann Gaillard of St. Stephen, SC, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, special friends; Debra Mobley, Ronitha Smalls, Eloise Johnson, Ruth Rodgers, and Sherry Washington; special cousins Annie Mae Gibson and Sylvia Wilson along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
