Sharon Sherall Pressley, age 39, passed from mortal to immortality on Sunday, March 3, 2019 after an illness. God saw fit and told his child; "Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant". She was born February 21, 1980 to Isaac Pressley and Deaconess Elnora McKnight Pressley. She was loved and known by family and friends as: "Relly" and "Rell". She attended Williamsburg County Schools and was a 1998 graduate of Kingstree Senior High School. She went on to further her education at Benedict College where she earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree and Lesley University where she graduated with a Master of Arts in Educational Technology. Sharon was reared at an early age in Mt. Zion Apostolic Faith Holiness Church, Kingstree, South Carolina in the Holy Woods Community. After receiving Christ as her personal Savior; she served faithfully as a Choir Member, Praise Team Co-Coordinator, and Youth Department Corresponding Secretary. She later moved her membership to the Charity Apostolic Faith Church, Florence SC where she served as a dedicated Sunday School Teacher for the Beginners/Primary Class, Webmaster, Praise Team member, and Hospitality Committee member. She also worked diligently on the District level with the International Youth Conference Planning Committee and assisted with the Southern and Eastern Conference Facebook and Website. Sharon was employed as a Substitute Teacher for Williamsburg County School District; Williamsburg County Sheriff Office; and the Department of Health and Environmental Control in Sumter, SC. She was also inducted into the family business as a Secretary for Pressley Funeral Home and East Main Motors. Sharon's smile, loving heart, and giving spirit will be missed but her memories will live on through her loving and devoted parents Isaac and Elnora McKnight Pressley. Sharon also leaves to cherish her memories four siblings Jimmie Morris of Rochester, NY; Elder Isaac Daryl Pressley of Lexington, SC; Matthew Jermaine (Tara) Pressley of Florence, SC; Jason Marcellus (Krystal) Boyd of Columbia, SC and a Sister-in-Law: Melissa Pressley of Columbia, SC. Three nieces Theadarsha, Alisia Cherell, and Khira; Six nephews: Matthew Kyjuan, Jakeese, Isaac "Boobie", Jamari, Micah Tramel, and a special nephew Matthew Jr."Macky" she reared as her own. Maternal Aunts & Uncles: Evangelist Dr. Doretha (Bishop Dr. Linwood) Cooper, Norman McKnight both of Kingstree, SC and Jimmie McKnight of Effingham, SC. Paternal Aunts and Uncles: Deaconess Lillie Segres, Mrs. Hattie McKnight, and Mrs. Cecelia (Evangelist Leroy) Epps all of Kingstree, SC,, Mr. Stephenson Pressley of Columbia, SC, Mr. Lynn Pressley of Newark, Ohio, Mr. Seth (Janie) Pressley, of Lake City, SC, Minister Stanley ( Minister Deliso) Pressley, of Birmingham, AL and Mr. Keith Pressley, of Kingstree, SC; Mrs. Julia Pressley, Mrs. Hattie Pressley and Mrs. Maxine Bradley all of Kingstree, SC, Rev.Virginia Pressley and Mrs. Gail Pressley both of Columbia, SC, Mrs. Gena Pressley, Newark, Ohio, and Mrs. Juanita Pressley of Florida. Five grand Uncles and five grand Aunts. God Children: Aja Battiste, Alexander Matthews, Reginald A. Segres, Jr., Emily Cherise Segres, Skylar Cassidy Hansberry, Teresa Gracelyn Segres, Joycelyn, Joy, and a special cousin Sean Pressley. Two dear cousins who were like sisters: Deitra (Linwood) Johnson and Evang. Woodrena (Rev. Reginald) Segres. Three special friends: Merlethia Greene, Pameka Mulligan, and Sharon Elmore. And a host of other cousins, relatives, and friends.
