Shirley A. Elmore is the daughter of the late James Elmore and Eula Mae Chandler Elmore. Shirley was 62 years of age, born May 18, 1951 in Clarendon County, New Zion Community. She departed this mortal life on November 30, 2013 after an extended illness. She demonstrated great courage and strength to her family in the face of uncertainty. Her strength, love, and dedication to her family was truly unmatched. Shirley was educated in the public school system of Williamsburg County. She was a member of Howard Chapel A.M.E Church. Shirley's employment included: Farming, Baxter Textile Plant, Cades Hebron Apparel and Caregiver. However, this was the tip of the iceberg when it came to her talent. Shirley was a seamstress and comedian at times, but above all she was a great mother to her children and grandchildren. Shirley had such a giving heart and all who knew her will remember her for having such a forgiving and loving heart. Shirley has one grandchildren that proceeded her in death, namely Trayonne Randolph; three siblings, Willie, Larry and Eurealee Elmore. Shirley is survived and cherished by: four daughters, Sadie Elmore of Kingstree, SC, Katina(Tyrone) Randolph of Lake City, SC, Gayle of Cades, SC and Major Sharon Elmore of Warner Robins, GA; two Sons, Sherman Elmore and Jonathan Elmore of Cades, SC; fourteen grandchildren: Ashley, LaDarius, Legacy, Alexus, K'Morie, Darnell, Kameshia, Naima, Nialah, Nalani, Sherman, Sidney, Jonathan, and Kaylah; two brothers, James Lewis (Lucille) Elmore of New Zion, SC and Michael Elmore of Kingstree, SC; four sisters, Lois Ann (Clinton) Evans of Turbeville, SC, Dorothy Mae Elmore of Lake City, SC, Polly Evans of White Oak, SC, and Juanita (Charles) Miller of New Zion, SC; sister-in-law, Wanda Elmore of Kingstree, SC; three aunts, Sadie Hampton of Lynchburg, SC, Inez McDowell of the St. John Community and Lula Bell Epps of Shiloah, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
