Mr. Ulysses Carl Brown, Jr. son of the late Ulysses Brown Sr. and Isabell "Bay" Easterling Hilton Brown was born on September 26, 1934, in Charleston, South Carolina.  He departed this earthly life on May 9, 2020, at Williamsburg Regional Hospital, Kingstree, South Carolina.  Ulysses was happily joined in matrimony for the past 30 years to Heuie Harriette Cooper.

Ulysses received his elementary, high school, and college education in South Carolina and Georgia.  He mastered and perfected the art of dry cleaning, and owned dry cleaning establishments which he operated very professionally in New York and South Carolina.  He was a gentle and kind-hearted man who always greeted his customers with a smile.  Ulysses enjoyed spending quality time with his wife Harriette, whom he loved immensely.  He also liked walking, tending to his pets, and watching TV to stay current with boxing and CNN.

He is preceded in death by a loved son Calvin Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His loving and devoted wife, Heuie Harriette Brown. Two well loved children: His daughter, Carline Brown of Rhode Island; his son, Carlton Brown of Kingstree, South Carolina; his grandson, Isaiah Q. Brown ("IQ") and Isaiah's mother, Jackie Jenkins of Kingstree, South Carolina; his daughter-in-law, Phyllis Brown of Kingstree, South Carolina;  his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen and Raymond Hicks of DeSoto, Texas; his brother-in-law, William Cooper Jr. of Long Beach, California; and, a host of family members and friends.
