Willie James Newkirk a son of the late Lucrea Newkirk was born March 24, 1945 in Clinton, North Carolina. He departed this earthly life Sunday, April 5, 2015 at his home after an extended illness. Willie James Newkirk attended the public schools of North Carolina. He was a member of Trinity Believers Holiness Church, Kingstree, South Carolina. During his life he held employment with the following companies; IBM for a period of thirty years. He also held a position with West Point Military Academy for twenty years, retiring from Nan Ya Plastics in 2011. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons; Willie James Newkirk, Jr. (Melissa) of Plattbury, NY, Billy Ray Aiken of Newburgh, New York, one sister; Flora Mae Newkirk also of Newburgh, New York; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; four close friends; Debra Reid, Cynthia Cooper Sabb, Ruth Shaw and Francis Melvin all of Kingstree, South Carolina.
